Helping our customers succeed – meet Michael Svanberg, our new Key Account Manager

In January 2025, Michael Svanberg joined Berner Industries as Key Account Manager – bringing with him deep expertise in logistics, dealer development, and B2B sales across Europe. At Berner, he is now responsible for key customer relationships within Energy, Road maintenance and chemical industries. 

Michael’s background includes senior sales and leadership roles in the machinery and industrial sectors. After completing studies in economics and engineering, he held his first position at Berendsen Textilservice, where he led profitability improvement projects across departments. This early experience built a strong foundation in commercial operations and cross-functional collaboration. 

He then moved into the machinery industry, working at Jungheinrich and UniCarriers, and later became Regional Director for Central and Eastern Europe at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. In that role, he was responsible for 120 million euros in annual revenue and worked closely with a network of 63 dealers in 31 countries. 

From forklifts to industrial raw materials – always focused on customer value

At Berner Industries, Michael brings his international and strategic mindset to serve our industrial customers. 

“My focus is now shifting from warehouse logistics to broader supply chain solutions,” says Michael. “We’re working on tailored logistical concepts that create real value for our customers – and packaging them in a way that supports their operational efficiency and sustainability goals.” 

Michael also emphasizes Berner Industry’s growth plans in the Nordic region: 
“I’m excited to be part of this expansion journey, and to demonstrate how we can deliver results through strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and long-term partnerships.”
